This website is a dynamic, live companion with the book, Take Back Your Government:  A Citizen’s Guide to Grassroots Change.  The book is designed to give an inside, very practical guide to people on how to make and change public policy and law in any of the 50 states.  Many people focus primarily on the federal level, but there are more laws that effect your daily lives at the state level.

While many of us were taught the theory of civics, government or political science, very few of us every learn how we actually exercise our constitutional rights to impact the process.  The only check-and-balance to lobbyist and special interest influences on our democratic processes is YOU.

This website will be used to add additional tips for citizen advocacy beyond those found in the book and to periodically feature high impact citizens to learn more about how regular people can and do get involved and make a difference.
